What is RSS?

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It is an easy way to promote and distribute information to others. New Routes provides this service as a way to increase the distribution of documents, video, audio, and images submitted by our partners and others who have something of value to share.

Anyone can copy the code provided on the New Routes site (when you click the square orange XML button) to display the most recent New Routes content on their computer. This is called an RSS feed. Every time New Routes publishes new content, the RSS feed that others see updates automatically, so people elsewhere can see the latest materials instantly without having to visit the site or wait for their biweekly email digest of New Routes materials.
