SALUD: Healing Through The Arts Hosts a Health Summit
SALUD: Healing Through the Arts culminating event, Salud Health Expo was a success. The event was held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 from 10AM-5PM at the National Museum of Mexican Art with approximately 200 attendees.

The SALUD Expo was free and featured workshops, open mic, food, health fair, information booths hosted by partner organizations like: Alivio Medical Center, Broadway Youth Center, Little Village Environmental Justice Organization, Chicago Community and Worker’s Rights, among others.

Conference attendees enjoyed live performances by local groups from different communities with songs that addressed the issues faced by Chicago's immigrant community.
