Egal Shidad Media Screens at Quality Health Care for Diverse Populations Conference Film Festival

Egal Shidad videos have played an important role in raising awareness of mental health among Somalis.  The collaboration that guided production resulted in a film that is culturally relevant, and this program enables Somalis to gain knowledge about the mental health/illness continuum, and inspires individuals to talk comfortably about mental health, in turn utilizing available resources.  

Video airs at the conference on October 19, 2010 4:00-6:00pm.
