Haitian Soap Opera Broadcast in Relief Camps

Haitian American director Jacques Roc is filming and then broadcasting a 16 episode soap opera set in the Earthquake Relief Camps in Port-au-Prince. The soap opera, Under the Sky, is broadcast in 15 minute episodes that have a central theme determined by UN Peacekeepers. Each episode is funded by the UN Peacekeepers at $6,000 per episode. The soap opera entertains, educates, and combats boredom in the camps.
