AANCART & Community Medicine in Koreatown conduct cancer screening at Korean Festival
Korean Festival with AANCART & Colorectal Cancer Project
Some of Community Medicine in Koreatown members went out to the Korean Festival to help out AANCART conduct its Colorectal Cancer Project. The CCP is a colorectal cancer screening outreach designed for Korean Americans who suffer higher prevalence of colorectal cancers. Although it was the first time participating in this project for many CMK members, Daniel and Won both did an excellent job, giving out mini-seminars to a group of intense Korean adults.
It’s been a long weekend for many of us, but CMK is glad that over 100 persons have been educated on colorectal cancer. AANCART, CMK, and other volunteers have made this possible. We look forward to coming out again next year, with a bigger crowd!
