Inspired by her favorite song, “A Concert for Lovers”, Maria finds self-empowerment through her escape from an abusive relationship. In her path she finds workshops with women who share similar stories, enriches her life with education, and finding a prince charming.

María encuentra inspiración en su canción favorita “Concierto para Enamorados” para encontrar el valor suficiente que le ayude a salir de la relación abusiva en la que se encuentra. En su camino, María encuentra grupos en donde hay mujeres que comparten historias parecidas a las de ella, alimenta su vida con educación y encuentra a su príncipe encantado.

This story is part of a collection of stories available on DVD with a curriculum guide. We are pleased to offer these stories and tools, in Spanish and English, free of charge to nonprofit organizations and schools who hope to screen the stories in health, community, and violence prevention settings.
