Olga tells of her loss of profession and her isolation when she first was brought to the US by her husband. She didn't give up--when she heard about some resources she used them to get back on her feet. A straight forward story-teller, Olga does not mince words or exaggerate.

This story is part of a collection of stories available on DVD with a curriculum guide. We are pleased to offer these stories and tools, in Spanish and English, free of charge to nonprofit organizations and schools who hope to screen the stories in health, community, and violence prevention settings. We only ask that in return, you report back some simple audience data to us so that we know how our stories were used, and what has been effective. Request a DVD.
