HEARMe Youth Radio Interns Arrive!
Posted by Ericka Tucker June 2, 2009
This week, HEARMe partners Hussien Mohamed and Ericka Tucker met for the first time with our summer interns from Clarkston High School. Four high school students will be joining the HEARMe team and join us from the International Rescue Committee’s summer program for youth. The interns will be helping with our station build, from June 10-14, and will eventually form the core of Sagal Radio’s Youth Radio Program. For the month of June they will learn how to use field recorders, interview, and edit digital audio. They will then collaborate on HEARMe programming, bringing in the views of youth on topics of health in their community.
