Abriendo Las Cajas (Opening Boxes) is a compilation of personal stories created by adult Mexican and Latin American immigrants and Latino Youth who live in the Fruitvale District of Oakland. Twenty short digital stories about violence in our communities were created last summer through a collaboration between La Clinica de la Raza, ZeroDivide, and Bay Area Video Coalition. This event will be a celebration and premiere of the digital stories produced right here in our neighborhood. Please join us!
Abriendo Las Cajas, es una compilacion de historias personales creadas por adultos de Mexico y Lationoamerica y jovenes Latinos que viven en el Fruitvale, Oakland. Estas veinte historias sobre la violencia en nuestras comunidades fueron creadas el pasado verano a traves de una colaboracion entre La Clinica de la Raza, ZeroDivide y Bay Area Video Coalition. Este evento es una celebracion y una oportunidad para ver todas las historias producidas aqui mismo en nuestro barrio. Acompañenos!!!!
