Crossing Borders project description
Nan Kari's application for $25, 000 in Case Foundation funding has made it into the Final Four of the Make It Your Own Awards, an online, vote-driven competition.
Here's a short description of Crossing Borders: A group of elders -- Somali, Mexican, Hmong, Peruvian, and U.S. born people -- will explore the qualities of spaces and practices that invite multi-cultural public participation. We will make these elements explicit and "show" through digital storytelling how barriers can be addressed. Read more about it at the link above.
That sounds like a New Routes approach to me. I wonder if our partners at Egal Shidad are aware of this proposal, or maybe participating in it?
